Visiting Beautiful Ponds, Making Friends, and Raising Money

The 2024 Water Garden Tour is on Saturday, July 27th & Sunday, July 28th.

Every year, we look forward to the Brandywine Valley Water Garden Tour and Evening Garden Tour. These two special events are an opportunity for homeowners to showcase the ponds and water gardens that enhance their homes and their lifestyles in the Chester County, Pennsylvania, area, and for participants to see how diverse, eco-friendly, and low-maintenance these backyard ponds can be.

More than that, these tours help us raise money for the Chester County Food Bank. Proceeds from the 2023 tours raised about $18,750, bringing our all-time total to well over $200,000 for this incredible cause. We love getting together with our friends and neighbors to celebrate the beauty of the outdoors while giving back to the community we love.

the venue and events

Turpin Landscape Design Build offers to take you away for one weekend each summer from hectic schedules, work and family demands, and everyday cares and concerns. Just how do we do this? We have the privilege of taking you on our Water Garden Weekend Tour, a privilege it truly is! Friends and family have generously offered to open their property so others may enjoy visiting and be inspired to try something new at their homes and in their gardens.

From Pondless Waterfalls that meander down a slope and Ponds placed purposefully outside the primary view that can be enjoyed from inside looking out to fountains features that welcome guests upon arrival, these tour stops are each unique in their way.

  • Saturday, July 27th 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Barbecue Saturday, July 27th 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
  • Sunday, July 28th 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Volunteers Needed

We are always looking for volunteers! We use volunteers throughout the year, and for all different types of tasks associated with the Tours. We also need several volunteers on the day of the events.
